1. Making a contract with us
When you place an order with us (oakpinefurniture.co.uk) you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email confirmation that we have received your order.

Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or there is a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order and there will be no contract between us.

2. How to place an order
You can place an order via our website www.oakpinefurniture.co.uk following the prompts given or by contacting us on: 01797 280235.

Once you have placed an order you will be contacted via e-mail within 24hrs (or next working day) with details of your order and further information.

Oakpinefurniture.co.uk will store your data securely and it will not be passed to any third parties.

3. Delivery
We currently deliver within the UK mainland. If you live further afield we may be able to deliver to a port or shipment company. Please call our sales team for further details ( 01797 280235 ).

Whilst we make every endeavor to adhere to delivery times, unfortunately oakpinefurniture.co.uk cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery beyond the suppliers' control.

In summary:
Our 'Standard Delivery' is a 2 man service, which includes taking your furniture to your room of choice. Unfortunately our drivers are unable to remove any existing goods, packaging or property for the purpose of assembly or installation of the goods. The cost of 'Standard Delivery' is £15.

We endeavour to give as much information as possible in respect to weight and size of our products, however, please contact our sales team on 01797 280235 if you are unsure.

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly by contacting us on 01797 280235. So we have all relevant information please follow your call up with written confirmation via email to sales@oakpinefurniture.co.uk.

Your chosen delivery date is an all day delivery; your driver will contact you on the morning of delivery to advise an approximate arrival time. Please bear in mind this may be subject to change due to circumstances outside the drivers control such as extreme weather conditions or excessive traffic. However, it is essential that someone is available to receive delivery as if you miss delivery you will be charged for the costs incurred. This is typically around ... but varies depending on location and courier.

To keep your items in the best possible condition they are carefully packaged to avoid damage during transit. When you receive your goods please, please, please remember to keep the packaging until you're 100% satisfied with your order. In the unlikely event that you need to return the item we can only accept it in its original packaging. This is really important, as each piece of furniture needs the same amount of protection returning to our warehouse as it does on its way to our customers.

Delivery Company Disclaimer
Please be advised that whilst every care will be taken by the delivery drivers, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur to your property or possessions whilst the delivery is in progress. Please therefore take care to cover any carpets or furniture and remove pictures and valuables from the delivery area.

4. Cancellation and Returns
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. We do require details of your wish to cancel in writing by email to sales@oakpinefurniture.co.uk. We aim to respond within 2 working days to confirm the cancellation and details of the refund due. There is no particular requirement to give a reason for cancellation, however, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you do cancel your order due to it being simply unsuitable or no longer needed there will be a collection charge. Please note that if you refuse the delivery in these circumstances the charge still applies.

If you wish to return the goods at your own cost please contact our customer services team on 01797 280235 to discuss this further. Alternatively we can arrange the collection for you and the charge for this service is to be determined depending on location in the UK. Please ensure the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage and again, speak to our customer services team for further details.

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and these result in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

For your security and protection refunds are given by the same method which the payment was made by.

This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Special Order items
A "special order" is any order that has been personalised to your specification by altering a colour on your instruction, or a non-stock item that has been ordered by us from our suppliers on your behalf. If you wish to cancel an order for a special item you will be liable for the cost incurred by oakpinefurniture.co.uk up to the point to which you have informed us. This will typically be the cost of manufacture that we have been liable for and any delivery costs that have been incurred in relation to this order.

5. Faulty Goods
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure your goods arrive in perfect condition, if you should find any problem with your order, please contact our Customer Services team on 01797 280235 who will be happy to discuss the situation. You have 28 days from date of delivery in which to report any missing or damaged items and we ask you to follow up your initial contact in writing by way of an email to sales@oakpinefurniture.co.uk.

We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products on our website, however, as different computers display colour tones differently we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of the pictures or photographs that are shown. If you are concerned about an item's finish please call our Customer Service on 01797 280235 and they may be able to send you an example.

Flat Pack Furniture
If you are ordering flat pack furniture we ask that you check all the components are in the package as per the instructions, before attempting to assemble the furniture.

If you start assembling the furniture before checking the components and decide that it is unsuitable, unfortunately we cannot accept the flat pack item back into stock assembled or part assembled.

We always try and replace parts of flat pack ranges if this is convenient.

These terms apply to your order. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.
